TRASH Music Projects

TRASH Music Projects was founded in 1995. We initially specialised in junk percussion, providing musical experiences for the musically inexperienced across Scotland, the UK and abroad.
The charity wound up in 2017 following the death of visionary founded Bill Muir.
In 2021 a group of previous members conspired to re-launch TRASH, and so we were reborn as a new charity.
We started a junk percussion band for teenagers in Cumbernauld and fairly soon they transformed the project into an inclusive rock band. We rehearse weekly on the stage of The MugShack, Cumbernauld’s old town hall and are actively seeking gigs. Previous performances include Solfest, Ivory Blacks and Saint Luke’s.
Recently our website exploded into a million pieces. This is the very start of a new one.
